There is a bar and the bowling atmosphere is nice for the college scene. There are also other game such as ping pong, billiards,and a small arcade. Friday night at 9pm games and shoe rentals are 13ish dollars unlimited ( till midnight) Sunday it's 3.09 per game. Overall, not a bad price for bowling it does fill up from time to time.
Went on a Saturday for their Summer Pass offer of three games everyday for one price for four months. When the place just opened for the day, hardly anyone was there. Great timing if you want some space to bowl without a lot of people crowding your lane.
The staff are very nice, but the lanes are dark so I had a hard time getting used to it. Maybe some florescent paint on the guide arrows? Love the seating and low tables for snacks. Had a great time with the family. Shoe rental was a bit pricey but they have deals during the week. We just managed to show up on a night with no deals. Would give five stars except for the dark lanes.
If you are a real bowler of any kind, don't bowl here. The drinks, the food, the atmosphere... none of it matters if there is no oil on the lanes. If you throw a hook, you will not be able to roll a single ball that stays out of the gutter. This place is for kids birthday parties only. My buddy and I bought an all-summer pass. We bowled one game and asked for our money back. They said no, so we asked the guy at the counter when they oil the lanes. He didn't know, but said two times a week. 1.) how do you not know? 2.) two times a week? I don't believe they even oil it that much, but even if that's true, that is bowling sacrilege. First 71 I've bowled since middle school. Bowlmor I will not. I wrote this in a Yelp review and got a message from Bowlmor Pasadena saying if I wrote corporate I could get a refund. I did and... crickets. Certainly not the best $40 I've spent.
It was great! Had fun, food was ok but the staff kept refilling and bar was good taking orders. I really enjoyed myself. The manager was attentive and wonderful too.
